This policy explains what we collect when you use daycarepromotions.com or talk to us, what we use it for, and your choices. Daycare Promotions is a trading name of The Safety Strap Frivåg-Hansen, a sole proprietorship registered in Norway (org. 927196301). "We" and "us" mean that business. Questions: [email protected].
What we collect
- What you type into our survey and booking form: your name, center name, city and state, mobile number, email, and your answers (open seats, type of center, ad budget).
- Details of the call you book, and what you tell us by email, text or phone.
- Whether you ticked the text-message consent boxes, and when.
- Basic technical data our website host records, such as browser type and pages visited.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, book and remind you about your strategy call, and talk with you about our services.
- To send the text messages you agreed to (see "Text messages" below).
- To run our client work if you become a client, including billing.
- To keep records we are required to keep by law.
Our legal basis is your consent (for texts), taking steps at your request before a contract, our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
Text messages
Our survey has two optional consent boxes. If you tick the first, we send texts about your enquiry: booking links, call confirmations and reminders, and replies to messages you send us. If you tick the second, we may also send occasional marketing texts, such as enrollment tips and offers for childcare centers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is optional and is not a condition of buying anything.
We never share or sell mobile numbers or text-message consent. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. The service providers below only process this data to deliver our own messages to you.
Who processes your data for us
We do not sell personal data. We use a few service providers to run the business, and they handle data only on our instructions: our CRM and website host (HighLevel, which also sends our emails and texts through its carrier partners), Google (email), and Stripe (payments, for clients only). Some of these are in the United States; where data leaves the EEA, the providers use standard contractual clauses or a similar approved safeguard.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become clients are deleted within 24 months of our last contact. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and then as long as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires (usually five years). If you text STOP, we keep a record of the opt-out so we never text you again.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. You can withdraw text consent at any time by replying STOP. If you live in the EEA you can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet). If you live in a US state with its own privacy law, you have the rights that law gives you; we do not sell or "share" personal data for targeted advertising as those laws define it.
Children
Our services are for childcare business owners. We do not knowingly collect data about children.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top of this page.
